He graduated from Korea University with a degree in Business Administration.
After joining CJ, he worked in the finance team and held positions such as Portfolio Strategy Officer, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Officer, and Planning Officer, before becoming the Head of Business Strategy 1.
He then moved to CJ Logistics, where he served as the Head of Management Support, and in 2022, he was appointed as the CEO of the Commerce Division at CJ ENM.
Since 2024, he has also held the position of CEO of the Entertainment Division at CJ ENM, overseeing all company operations as the sole CEO.
He played a leading role in various mergers and acquisitions within the CJ Group. He is recognized as an expert in M&A, especially for his swift execution of external investments in the Commerce Division of CJ ENM in 2022.
Since his appointment as CEO, he has consistently delivered strong performance and is highly regarded for his communication skills, execution capability, and approachability.
