Along with Ki Woo-sung, Vice Chairman and CEO of Celltrion, and Kim Hyung-ki, Vice Chairman and CEO of Celltrion's Global Sales Division, he is considered one of the three key figures who contributed to the founding of Celltrion by Seo Jung-jin.

Among them, he was the first to join, making him Celltrion's first-ever employee as part of its first recruitment class.
