Rhee Eun-mi is the CEO and President of Toss Bank.
As the first female CEO of an internet-only bank in Korea, she is focused on achieving Toss Bank's first net profit and supporting the IPO of its parent company, Viva Republica.
She was born in January 1973.
She graduated from Sogang University with a degree in Computer Science and completed a master's degree in Interpretation at Ewha Womans University Graduate School.
She earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in the U.S., London Business School, and Hong Kong University Graduate School.
She studied data analysis at the London School of Economics and obtained certifications as a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
She started her career in the Financial Tax Department at Samil PwC and then moved to Daewoo Securities as a researcher.
She served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Commercial Banking at Standard Chartered Singapore & SC First Bank, Deutsche Bank, and HSBC's Asia-Pacific Headquarters in Hong Kong.
She joined Daegu Bank as Head of the Management Planning Group, where she led the transition to a commercial bank and co-chaired the task force team.
In 2024, she was appointed as the CEO of Toss Bank.
