He graduated from Daehung High School in Yesan, Chungnam, and studied Business Administration at Korea University.
He began his career at Samho, where he held positions such as Executive Director and Head of the Management Innovation Division. He then served as Vice President and CEO of Korea Development Corporation, Executive Director of the Architecture Business Division at Daelim Industrial, Vice President of the Housing Business Division at Daelim Industrial, and Vice President and CEO of Daelim Industrial.
After stepping down as CEO of Daelim Industrial, he was appointed CEO of DL Construction. Along with his role as CEO of DL Construction, he also took on the role of Head of the Housing Business Division at DL E&C.
He is known for his excellent crisis management skills.
His management philosophy emphasizes the importance of the "sum of experiences," and he promotes discussions and meetings that utilize collective intelligence.
