Lee Han-joon is the President of Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).
He is working on stabilizing the housing market while addressing debt reduction and restoring trust in the Land and Housing Corporation.
He was born on August 29, 1951, in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do.
He graduated from Hanyang High School and the Department of Urban Engineering at Hanyang University. He earned a master's degree from the Graduate School of Hanyang University and a doctorate from the Graduate School of Hongik University.
He has served as Deputy Director of the Korea Transport Institute, Special Policy Advisor to the Governor of Gyeonggi Province, President of Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation (GH), and Visiting Professor at Ajou University. He laid the groundwork for the Greater Seoul Metropolitan Rapid Transit (GTX) while serving as a special policy advisor to Kim Moon-soo, Chairman of the Economic, Social, and Labor Council, during his tenure as Governor of Gyeonggi Province.
He served as an advisor in the Economic Division 2 and a private member of the Real Estate Task Force (TF) of the Presidential Transition Committee under the Yoon Seok-yeol government, and as a member of the Housing Supply Innovation Committee of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.
In 2022, he was appointed as the President of Korea Land and Housing Corporation.
He is dedicated to the smooth development of the third new city with a pre-transport and post-occupancy approach, including the reorganization of the first new city. He is also promoting digital and design innovations in the fields of urban, transportation, and housing.
