He is a self-made entrepreneur. He established Patron in 2003 with a capital of KRW 27.1 billion (US$ 19.7 million) and grew it into a mid-sized company with annual sales of over KRW 1 trillion (US$ 726 million).

He possesses excellent management skills and technical expertise, receiving positive evaluations for his drive, judgment, and leadership.
