During his doctoral program, he worked as the head of the technology team at the game company Imagic, and later moved to Nextplay as CTO and technical director.

After completing his doctorate, he worked at Ginogames as CTO and development producer.

After Ginogames was acquired by Bluehole (now Krafton), he served as head of development at Bluehole Ginogames (now PUBG), and was later appointed CEO of Krafton’s subsidiary PUBG Studios.

He became CEO of Krafton in March 2020.

He is called the father of Battlegrounds and is known as a “hardworking genius.”
