He graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Industrial Engineering and earned a master's degree in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from Chung-Ang University's Graduate School of Medicine and Food.
He worked at Samjeong KPMG in the United States before joining Boryung Pharmaceutical's strategic planning office as an 'Executive Director' in November 2013.
He was appointed CEO of Boryung Holdings in 2019 and became CEO of Boryung in 2022.
He also serves on the board of directors of Axiom Space, an American space company that partners with Boryung.
