Jang Dong-hyun is Vice Chairman and CEO of SK ecoplant.

In line with SK Group’s rebalancing strategy, he is focused on enhancing the corporate value of SK ecoplant in preparation for an initial public offering (IPO).

He was born on August 20, 1963, in Daegu.

After graduating from Kyungpook National University High School, he studied industrial engineering at Seoul National University, where he also earned a master’s degree in the field.

He began his career at Yukong, which was later acquired by SK Group. At SK Telecom, he held key leadership roles including Head of Finance, Head of Corporate Planning, Head of Strategy, and Head of Marketing.

He went on to serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at SK Planet, and in 2014 was appointed President and CEO of SK Telecom. He later returned to SK, where he was once again named President and CEO before being promoted to Vice Chairman.

In December 2023, he took office as CEO of SK ecoplant.

Within SK Group, he is widely recognized as a leading expert in finance and mergers and acquisitions.
